SA9123L USB Audio Controller

Overview

The SA9123L is a USB High-Speed audio streaming controller for a stereo input and stereo output interface. It supports PCM audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz and provides an IEC60958 S/PDIF transmit output. The original September 2020 datasheet includes pin assignments, timing, clocking and application circuits.

Features

• USB 2.0 High-Speed operation and support for USB Audio Class 1.0 and 2.0.
• PCM word lengths of 16 or 24 bits and sampling rates up to 192 kHz.
• I²S input and output interfaces with independent sample-rate configuration.
• S/PDIF transmit streaming output for a digital audio connection.
• I²C control, firmware-assigned I/O and an HID interrupt endpoint.
• 1.8–3.3 V supply range and a 64-pin LQFP package.
